Grekland kräver negativt Covid-19 test. Arrangörens skyldighet
Från 17 augusti måste alla resenärer från Sverige uppvisa ett negativt Covid-19 test för att kunna resa in i Grekland. Testet ska tas max 72 timmar innan avresa och flygbolagen är ålagda att kolla resultatet, som ska vara på engelska, innan boarding. Även grekiska medborgare omfattas av kravet. Motsvarande krav gäller för resenärer från Tjeckien, Nederländerna, Belgien och Spanien. SRF för samtal med UD samt trycker på grekiska regeringen om att ta bort Sverige från listan.

Vad gäller enligt paketreselagen?
Arrangören en skyldighet att informera resenären om eventuella hälsoformaliteter på resmålet. Information ska lämnas till resenären innan bokning. Om det efter bokning införs nya formaliteter ska arrangören informera resenären om detta så fort som möjligt. Arrangören ansvarar enbart för att informera och det är resenärens ansvar att se till att hälsoformaliteter är uppfyllda. Att Grekland inför krav på intyg innebär inte att det inträffat en extraordinär eller oundviklig omständighet på resmålet. Resenärer har därmed inte, enligt SRF:s mening, rätt att avboka en paketresa kostnadsfritt på grund av det nya kravet. En resenär som blir nekad ombordstigning på grund av att intyg saknas eller uppvisar positivt testresultat, har inte rätt till återbetalning från arrangören.
Nedanstående information har vi erhållit från grekiska turistbyrån:
- As of August 17, all travelers from Sweden, Czech Republic, Belgium, Spain and the Netherlands will be obliged to present a negative molecular test for COVID-19 (PCR test-no antibodies test ) conducted no more than 72 hours before travel to authorities upon arrival.
Airlines should check the test results document before boarding the flight as well as the PLF (Passenger Locator Form) which is still obligatory for all visitors. The test results have to be in English, mentioning the name of the person, his-her ID or Passport Number and conducted by an Official Health Organization or Authorized Laboratory. Greek citizens (or those with a resident permit) who enter the country from the above mentioned countries are also obliged to present a negative PCR test document. - As of August 17, all travelers entering Greece’s land borders – including Greek citizens and those with residence permits – must present a negative molecular test for COVID-19 conducted no more than 72 hours prior. The test must have been performed in the country of origin and not in Greece.
- As of August 16, only 750 people per day will be allowed to cross the Kakavia border station, Greece’s entry point with Albania.
- All public events in which participants stand, including concerts and performances, are suspended throughout the country.
- From August 11 to August 23, all bars and clubs in the following Greek regions and municipalities are not allowed to operate between the hours of 12 midnight and 7am:
– The regions of Crete, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace
– The regional units of Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Larissa and Corfu
– The municipalities of Mykonos, Paros, Santorini, Volos, Katerini, Rhodes, Antiparos, Zakynthos and Kos
The ban may be extended to other areas, depending on the course of the epidemiological data.
